What is At Ease?
At Ease is a veteran-led support and referral service.
We help veterans understand their options and connect with independent medical providers where appropriate.
We are not a clinic, prescriber, or pharmacy.
What services can you help with?
Depending on individual circumstances, we can assist with referrals for:
- General Practice & diagnostic assessments
- Psychiatry & psychology
- Pain management
- Medicinal cannabis (subject to clinical assessment)
- Claims support & medico-legal reports
- Mental health outpatient treatment
Services are available via telehealth nationally, with face-to-face clinics in select locations.
Do I need to already have a DVA claim?
No.
Some services may relate to claims, others are clinical assessments or treatment pathways.
We’ll explain what applies to you before any referral is made.
Is medicinal cannabis guaranteed?
No.
Medicinal cannabis is not guaranteed and is only considered:
- Following an independent clinical assessment
- Where it is clinically appropriate
- In line with Australian regulations
If it’s not suitable, other options may be discussed.
Is this a “script mill”?
No.
All services are provided by licensed medical professionals following proper assessment.
There are no shortcuts, guarantees, or automatic approvals.
What does it cost to speak with At Ease?
There is no cost to register and discuss your options with us. At Ease Veteran Solutions does not charge veterans for any services. Any costs associated with medical services are explained before you proceed. We do our best to ensure you aren't ever out of pocket
Am I locked into anything?
No. Registering your interest does not commit you to treatment or services.
Why is At Ease involved at all?
Because the system is confusing, fragmented, and slow - especially for veterans. Our role is to reduce friction, explain options clearly, and point you in the right direction. Our team is made of veterans who have experience the worst side of the system and are passionate about making a change.

What if I don't have a DVA card?
If you have completed eligible service, we will walk you through the process to obtain a white card very quickly. From there you'll be on the path to claiming any services you are entitled to.
